How long should I wear my Invisalign® clear aligners?

For best treatment results and efficiency, it is recommended to wear Invisalign® aligners for 22 hours per day.

You may take them out during meals, brushing, flossing, playing sport or musical instruments and special events. Just brush your teeth before wearing them again.

How often are Invisalign® clear aligners replaced?

Depending on your customised treatment plan, your Specialist Orthodontist can prescribe wearing each set of aligners anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks before you are given a new set.

Do Invisalign® clear aligners hurt?

No, your aligners are not supposed to hurt.

However, it is completely normal to feel slight pressure, tenderness or discomfort for the first few days when you start wearing each new set of aligners. When your teeth adjust this discomfort should subside.

Can I eat normally with Invisalign® treatment?

Yes, you may eat and proceed with all your usual activities like you normally would.
