Absolutely great experience, took me a while to fix my badly corrupted smile, but totally worth it. Choosing Invisalign system over classic railway braces was right decision, no doubt about it. Clinic personnel is awesome, doctors guided me through the treatment with great care and support. Just follow the simple rules and the result will make you happy. I noticed constant development at the clinic, introducing new tools and equipment to help the patients. Self scanning tool was given to me so on time, right before lockdowns - I was able to send progress updates from home, eliminating regular visits to the clinic. I cannot recommend more. Invisalign treatment at Aberdeen Orthodontics starts from £5,000. This includes free retainers to ensure your smile stays looking tip-top following your treatment. Suitability for Invisalign treatment will depend on your individual needs. During your initial assessment at Aberdeen Orthodontics we will be able to advise whether aligner treatment is a suitable solution for you, or whether an alternative treatment would be more beneficial.
Typically, if you're an adult Invisalign patient you'll need to pop in to see us around once every six weeks. Having the close eye of an experienced orthodontist will ensure everything is moving in the right direction. We will also keep track of the progress of your treatment remotely between appointments, with the Dental Monitoring app.
One of the things that makes Invisalign such a popular option for straightening teeth, is that it has minimal impact the treatment has on your lifestyle. You can eat all of your favourite foods while going through your smile journey, just as long as you remove the aligners before tucking in. You also need to be on top of your dental hygiene. After eating, give your teeth a brush and a floss before popping your Invisalign aligners back in.
Looking after your Invisalign aligners is easy to incorporate into your everyday oral hygiene routine. Simply use a spare toothbrush and toothpaste with a little lukewarm water.
You may notice a slight change in your speech for a few days, until you're used to wearing the aligners. But for the most part, your speech shouldn’t be affected.
If your aligner breaks, don't panic! Just call us to let your dentist know what's happened and we can re-order a new set of aligners for you. That being said, Invisalign aligners are very durable, so you are unlikely to find yourself in this predicament.
